Although it naturally dominates as the default browser on macOS and iOS hardware, Safari is the least popular of all the major desktop browsers, with just 3.9% of the global market share in August. But it still has bottom-of-the-pack ranking among desktop browsers worldwide – at least in part because of the dominance of Windows. Among web browsers, Apple’s Safari is no slouch.
